The homecoming mum's journey from subtle corsage of yesteryear to today’s four-feet glitter bombs hung with cowbells is the focus of a new exhibit in Garland, "MUMENTOUS: Football, Glue Guns, Moms, and a Super-Sized Tradition Born Deep in the Heart of Texas." Created in partnership with the and author and award-winning photographer Amy J. Schultz, the exhibit captures first-hand stories and photography that uncover something poignant in this seemingly superficial corner of Texana heritage.
Catch the exhibit in Garland now until October 12.
