Continuing Through May 25
At Texas Historical Commission state historic sites across the state, you can step back into history. Continuing through May 25, experience tours and hands-on activities that demonstrate how Texans of the past spent their daily lives. From ornate Victorian mansions to everyday inns, frontier forts to 20th-century leaders’ homes, there’s a state historic site to fit every interest. Many historic sites are near historic downtown districts, where you can dine or shop at local businesses that make their communities unique. There's still time to participate in some great Living History Week events:

Join the National Museum of the Pacific War as we remember those who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today. The ceremony includes a guest speaker, a wreath-laying ceremony, and more. This program is free to the public, but seating is limited. When seats are filled, standing room is available.
