What are social justice and equity, why are they important to museums, and how do they relate to conversations around racism and museum sustainability? This webinar will explore how museums can recontextualize exhibits to facilitate discussions around social justice and provide examples of museums that have done this successfully.
Presenter Elena Gonzales will share high-impact, low-cost solutions, acknowledging that while many museums may not have the resources to reinstall their exhibits, there are ways they can address social justice within the context of what they already have on view.
