Jennifer Rehkamp, Director of Research, Association of Children's Museums Andrea Welsch, Executive Director, Children's Museum of Fond du Lac
What have children's museums learned after one year of navigating the pandemic, and what can the rest of the museum field learn from their response? As institutions created purposely to encourage playful learning through hands-on exploration, children's museums have been uniquely poised to adapt and experiment with innovative ways to engage with children and caregivers in their communities.
Presenters Jennifer Rekhamp and Andrea Welsh will consider the arch of these innovative approaches over the past year and contemplate what this means for the entire museum community in the future.
