New Resource: 2027 Accountability Administrator’s Guide

Performance Reporting Calendar of Events
The Performance Reporting Calendar of Events has been updated to reflect the final dates for September and October. Additionally, October .ics calendar files are now available, allowing you to add these events directly to your personal calendar.
Here’s what’s new in this month’s update:
- The dates for reports to be updated on the Texas Performance Reporting System (TPRS) were added. For more information on the data available on TPRS, refer to the Texas Performance Reporting System User Guide.
- The date for the September TSDS PEIMS and Accountability: Best Practices for the Fall Submission webinar was added, with registration links.
- The date for RDA Significant Disproportionality (SD) Year 3 letters to be sent to affected LEAs was confirmed.
TSDS PEIMS and Accountability: Best Practices for the Fall Submission Webinar

This session will provide an overview of accountability data and sources, review some common pitfalls in data reporting, and highlight critical PEIMS reports to review to support accurate data submission. Important Reminder: 2026 Appeals Deadline
Today is the deadline for 2026 preliminary A-F ratings appeals. If you wish to submit an appeal, ensure that it is submitted by 5 pm via upload in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application, by mail, or hand delivery. For additional information on the accountability appeals process, please reference the Accountability Appeal Submission Guide.
Reminder: PEIMS Extended Year Resubmission
School systems have until the PEIMS Extended Year Resubmission due date of October 1, 2026, to make changes to data in the PEIMS Extended Year Submission. The PEIMS Extended Year Submission and Extended Year Resubmission contain critical data for 2026 graduates and non-graduates who were reported as 12th graders during the 2025-26 school year that will be used for 2027 accountability calculations.
What are the implications for accountability with the phase-out of English II EOC?
We have received several questions from the field related to the implications for accountability with the phase-out of English II EOC. Please review the information below:
- Students who are in the accountability subset and take English II EOC either as a first-time tester or a retester in June 2026, December 2026, or Spring 2027 will be included in 2027 accountability calculations. This includes students who are graduating before August 31, 2027 as well as those graduating after August 31, 2027.
- First-time testers are included in Domains 1, 2a, 2b, and 3.
- Retesters are included in Domains 1, 2b, and 3.
- Students who are in the accountability subset and take English II EOC either as a first-time tester or a retester in June 2027 will be included in 2028 accountability calculations. The final administration of the English II EOC will occur in June 2027. This includes students who are graduating before August 31, 2027 as well as those graduating after August 31, 2027.
- First-time testers are included in Domains 1, 2a, 2b, and 3
- Retesters are included in Domains 1, 2b, and 3
- For participation rates (Domain 3):
- The use of an “A” or “O” code will be included in participation rate calculations.
- Per allowable guidance provided in the TAA: HB 8 Phaseout of English II End-of-Course Assessment Graduation Requirement, students who have both Eligibility and Retester Flags removed in TIDE will not be included in participation rate calculations.
- “A” and “O” score codes should not be entered for English II EOC retesters graduating after August 31, 2027.

CCMR Outcomes Bonus Early Counts
The College, Career, or Military Readiness Outcomes Bonus (CCMR OB) Early Counts student listing for the Class of 2025 graduates is now available on the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application. A public report of the counts by district and CCMR OB Explanation of Methodology and Sources document are posted on the Performance Reporting Resources webpage.
The purpose of the CCMR OB funding is to reward school systems for not only preparing students for college, a career, and the military, but for students taking the next step in their career planning by enrolling in postsecondary institutions, completing a credential, and/or enlisting in the military, as defined in Texas Education Code, §48.110 and Title 19 of Texas Administrative Code, §74.1007.
CCMR Outcomes Bonuses are paid annually for the accomplishments of graduates above a certain percentage threshold across three specific student groups: economically disadvantaged, non-economically disadvantaged, and students served in special education programs.
Early counts include graduates who met TSI criteria, earned associate degrees or IBCs, and those who enrolled in postsecondary institutions immediately after high school but do not yet include data from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) for postsecondary institution enrollment.
