Commissioner of Education Rules
The following Texas Administrative Code (TAC) rule action was filed with the Texas Register for publication in the September 4, 2026 issue.
Proposed Amendment to 19 TAC Chapter 102, Educational Programs, Subchapter GG, Commissioner's Rules Concerning Postsecondary Preparation Programs, §102.1091, College and Career Readiness School Models
Summary: The proposed amendment would update Pathways in Technology Early College High School programmatic requirements to align with the requirements of House Bill 2 (HB) and HB 120, 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2025, and would provide clarifications to existing statutory provisions.
Resumen en Español: La enmienda propuesta actualizaría los requisitos programáticos del programa Trayectorias en Tecnología en la Escuela Secundaria Temprana para alinearlos con los requisitos de los Proyectos de Ley 2 y 120 de la Cámara de Representantes, 89.° Legislatura de Texas, sesión ordinaria, 2025 y proporcionaría aclaraciones a las disposiciones legales existentes.

Proposed Effective Date: December 20, 2026
