2026 Accountability Pairing Registration
All campuses serving prekindergarten through grade 12 must receive an academic accountability rating. Campuses that serve only grades not tested on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) (i.e., PK, K, grade 1, or grade 2) must be paired with either another campus in the district or with the district itself. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) analyzes TSDS PEIMS fall enrollment data to determine which campuses need to be paired.
The Campus Pairing Registration is now open in the Texas Education Agency Login (TEAL) Accountability application and will remain open through May 8, 2026. Districts are responsible for campus pairing decisions and may use the prior-year pairing relationship or select a new relationship by completing the pairing form in the Texas Education Agency Login (TEAL) Accountability application. If a district does not indicate a pairing preference, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) will make the pairing decisions. For campuses that have been paired in the past, TEA staff assume that the prior pairing relationship still applies. For campuses in need of pairing for the first time, pairing selections should be based on the Campus Pairing Guidelines available on the 2026 Accountability Rating System webpage. For additional information, please refer to the To the Administrator Addressed Correspondence on the 2026 Accountability Pairing Registration Requirement.
Deadline to enter Student Information for Accountability Reporting in TIDE
The deadline to enter and finalize student information for accountability reporting in the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE) is May 1, 2026. Districts should review and ensure all required student demographic and program participation data are accurate and complete by this date, as updates after the deadline may not be reflected in accountability outcomes. For more information on reporting events, visit the Reporting Events webpage.

PEIMS Summer Submission Webinar
Join us on May 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. for a webinar focused on the PEIMS Summer Submission and accountability implications. This session will provide an overview of key requirements, timelines, and common considerations to support accurate and timely submissions. Additionally, we will highlight key accountability tools that support ongoing monitoring and data usage.
The webinar is intended for district and campus staff involved in PEIMS data collection and reporting, CCMR district leaders, high school administrators, and guidance counselors. Accurate data submissions require a high level of coordination and understanding, and we encourage attendance of any stakeholder who wants to support cross-collaboration. As a reminder, there were significant changes made to the PEIMS Summer Submission which now includes reporting leaver and graduate status for grades 7-12. These changes and implications on accountability will be discussed. Please register using the webinar registration link.
Please Note: To register, users must have or create a free Zoom account.

TPRS Attendance Report Updates
Beginning with the 2024-25 Texas Performance Reporting System (TPRS) Attendance, Graduation, and Dropout report, a change has been made to provide updated data. Attendance and Chronic Absenteeism reporting now reflects data from the 2024-25 school year.
In the 2024-25 TPRS Reports, the Attendance and Chronic Absenteeism rates shown in the first row now reflect 2024-25 data, providing stakeholders with the most recent available data. As a result of this update, 2023-24 attendance and chronic absenteeism rates are displayed only as prior year data in the second row of the 2024-25 reports and are not available in other TPRS reports. Dropout and graduation reports are unchanged and continue to reflect data from the 2023-24 and 2022-23 school years.
TPRS data downloads will also be updated in the coming weeks to include 2024-25 attendance and chronic absenteeism. TAPR reports will not be updated.
New Resource: CCMR Tracker Part 1 – Dashboard Application Video
The dashboard application for the CCMR Tracker Part 1 is available in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability and has been updated to include 2025 graduates and non-graduates to increase usability. The CCMR Tracker Part 1 dashboard application is especially useful for districts that haven't procured third-party data tools and would like to analyze their CCMR data in a simplified, non-spreadsheet view. Watch the Using the CCMR Tracker Part 1 Dashboard Application video, available on the 2026 Accountability Rating System webpage and in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application, to learn how to navigate the CCMR Tracker dashboard, apply filters, and export customized data for local planning.
New Resource: College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Tracker Part 1 - Video
A video overview, How to Use the 2026 CCMR Tracker - Part 1, is now available on the 2026 Accountability Rating System webpage and in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application to accompany the 2026 CCMR Tracker - Part 1 released last week. The video explains the new features and enhancements in the CCMR Tracker Part 1 and demonstrates how districts can use the tracker to better understand and explore their CCMR data.
As a reminder, the 2026 CCMR Tracker - Part 1 is available as a spreadsheet format in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application. Stakeholders can use this format of the CCMR Tracker Part 1 to analyze CCMR data directly in Excel, populate third‑party data tools, or distribute CCMR data to staff who may not have TEAL access.
As we work to improve accountability tools and explanatory resources, we appreciate your feedback on the CCMR Tracker, Part I explanatory “how-to” videos through this brief survey.
2028 Accountability Framework Overview Webinar
Thank you to all who joined us for the 2028 Accountability Framework Overview Webinar. We appreciate your engagement and participation. The webinar recording and slide deck are now available on the Accountability System Development webpage for anyone who was unable to attend or who would like to revisit the information shared.
Improve Performance Reporting Processes and Products
Many of the tools shared in recent bulletins were created and shared based on the feedback received from stakeholders across Texas. As we work to better serve our stakeholders, if you have suggested enhancements to existing products or processes or new tools that would better meet your needs, please share your ideas through our survey, Suggested Enhancements to Performance Reporting's Products and Processes. We appreciate your feedback as we prepare for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond.
If our school or system completed a Working Submission to correct prior-year PEIMS data to be considered for 2026 or later accountability ratings, will that be reflected in the CCMR Tracker Part 1 and CCMR Verifier?
Data from working submissions that were submitted prior to September 11, 2025, as part of the 2025 appeals process, are reflected in the CCMR Tracker, Part 1, and will also be reflected in the CCMR Verifier. Working submissions submitted after September 11, 2025, are not included in the CCMR tracker and will not be reflected in CCMR Verifier but may be considered for 2026 accountability ratings.
The PEIMS Working Submission Guidance has also been updated to reflect the answer to this frequently asked question.
