2025-2026 ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant Application Final Amounts with 2024-2025 Carryover and Reallocation Amounts Now Available
Final amounts for programs in the 2025-2026 ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant Application are now available on the Grant Allocations and Award Balances webpage.
Grantees must start an amendment to the 2025-2026 ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant Application in eGrants to budget their final amounts, 2024-2025 carryover amounts, and any applicable reallocation amounts. Once an amendment has been initiated, these updated amounts will populate on the BS6001 — Program Budget Summary and Support schedule. Grantees will complete the program and budget schedules as appropriate, then certify and submit the amendment.
The deadline to submit amendments is 11:59 p.m. Central Time, June 2, 2026.
Title I, Part A Excess Carryover
For grantees that exceed the 15% statutory carryover limit for Title I, Part A, final allocations — including carryover and any applicable reallocation amounts — will not be released until a waiver request to exceed the carryover percentage has been submitted.
The Excess Carryover Waiver Process will begin the week of March 2. For impacted grantees, the superintendent listed in AskTED will receive an email containing a link to a Qualtrics survey, which includes the waiver form. The grantee must indicate if they would like to request a waiver to carry over the full amount of funds available and submit the completed form to TEA. After TEA has received the survey, the grantee will receive additional instructions on the steps needed to complete the waiver process.
