Title IV, Part A, Subpart 1 – School System Special Data Collection for Public Reporting: Expenditures, Program Objectives, Intended Outcomes, and Progress – Virtual Statewide Office Hour Sessions
As per the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Title IV, Part A, Subpart 1, sections 4104(a)(2) and 4106(e)(1)(E), TEA is required to collect and publicly report how Title IV, Part A, Subpart 1, funds are being expended per content area by School Year (SY) and the degree to which progress has been made toward meeting program objectives and intended outcomes. School systems must submit data through the TEA Federal Program Compliance (FPC) Smartsheet WorkApp. The Title IV, Part A, School System Special Data Collection will open for data submission on October 1, 2025, and close on December 1, 2025. All school systems receiving a Title IV, Part A subgrant are required to submit the requested data, unless they are using the Rural Education Achievement Program (REAP) and/or Funding Transferability options to redirect 100% of their Title IV, Part A funds to another program.
NOTE: The submission requirement has changed for this year’s data collection. School systems that redirected 100% of their Title IV, Part A funds were previously required to respond to the data collection. Such school systems are no longer required to respond since we are moving to a school year submission cycle.
Regional Education Service Centers (ESCs) will provide training for the Title IV, Part A, data collection WorkApp. TEA will offer statewide office hour Question and Answer sessions. Participants must register in advance to attend Statewide Office Hour sessions to ask questions about WorkApp submissions and Title IV, Part A, data requirements. These sessions will not be recorded.
Register and save the dates for the following Statewide Office Hour Questions and Answers (Q&A) sessions.
