ESSA Consolidated Compliance Reports Submission Reminder & Update
Submission Reminder
On July 29, 2025, the 2024-2025 ESSA Consolidated Compliance Reports and 2024-2025 Rural and Low-Income Schools (RLIS) Compliance Report were made available to School Systems and to Education Service Centers, that serve as fiscal agents for Shared Services Arrangements (SSA), via the eGrants system. The availability of the reports was announced via Statewide News Bulletin.
The reports are due to be submitted via eGrants by September 30, 2025. Please note that the timeliness of submission of the report is part of each School System's Risk Assessment Indicator 13: A School System had Federal Program Non-Compliance issues due to Late or No submission of their ESSA Consolidated Compliance Report. Resources for submitting the reports can be accessed on the ESSA Consolidated Compliance Reports Webpage.
Program Compliance Self-Check Guide
An updated version of the ESSA Consolidated Compliance Reports Program Compliance Self-Check Guide (Version 8) has been posted for the 2025-2026 grant year and beyond. Federal Programs staff are encouraged to review the document as additional items have been added that will be reported in July 2026, when the 2025-2026 ESSA Consolidated Compliance Reports are submitted. The current version (Version 7; published in July 2024) of the document remains published since the current document applies to the 2024-2025 ESSA Consolidated Compliance Reports that are currently being submitted by School Systems.
