2025 Campus Comparison Groups Published June 12, 2025
The 2025 Campus Comparison Groups are available on the 2025 Accountability Rating System webpage. Each Texas campus is identified by school type, then assigned to a unique comparison group made up of 40 other campuses that are most similar to it.
These groups are determined based on several factors including grade levels served, campus size, percentage of economically disadvantaged students, mobility rate, percentage of emergent bilingual students, percentage of students receiving special education services, and percentage of students enrolled in an Early College High School program. Campuses within a comparison group may be located anywhere across the state, ensuring a fair and comprehensive basis for evaluating performance.
An explanation of the grouping methodology can be found in Appendix E of the 2025 Accountability Ratings Manual, with additional information in Chapter 6 regarding the use of comparison groups for Distinction Designations.
2025 Enhanced (Low/ High) Performance Level Indicator Tables Published June 12, 2025
The 2025 STAAR and STAAR EOC raw scores and scale scores associated with calculating School Progress, Part A: Academic Growth within the A-F accountability system is now available on the 2025 Accountability Rating System webpage. This document includes 2025 raw and scale scores. This information assists districts with decisions for accelerated instruction in alignment with HB1416.

2025 Accelerated Instruction Enhanced (Low/ High) Performance Level Indicator Tables for Science and Social Studies Tables Published June 12, 2025

This document includes 2025 raw and scale scores. This information assists districts with decisions for accelerated instruction in alignment with HB1416.

Final 2024 Graduation and Dropout Information Released June 12, 2025
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) released Final Graduation and Dropout Information on June 12th, 2025. These confidential reports include 2023-24 data for 2025 Accountability, and are accessible through TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application under the Research & Analysis tab.
The reports include longitudinal graduation rates, as well as longitudinal graduation, continuation, or TxCHSE rates for alternative education accountability campuses, longitudinal diploma program rates, annual dropout rates, and underreported student rates.
They are for informational and planning purposes only, with no required actions.
Adopted Amendment to 19 TAC Chapter 74, Curriculum Requirements, Subchapter AA, Commissioner's Rules on College and Career Readiness, §74.1003, Industry-Based Certifications for Public School Accountability
The adopted amendment updates the criteria used to identify the industry-based certifications to be used for public school accountability. The rule was adopted with changes since published as proposed and was effective June 11, 2025.
2025 College Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) Verifier Opened May 30, 2025
The CCMR Verifier was released in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application on May 30, 2025, and will be available until Friday June 20, 2025.
The CCMR Verifier provides districts an opportunity to verify the accuracy of their CCMR data and, if needed, submit official documentation to correct non-PEIMS data. LEAs can monitor the status of requested changes during Verification window and provide further documentation as described in the 2025 CCMR Verifier Data Requirements document if needed.
CCMR indicators determined by TSDS PEIMS submissions are not eligible for corrections and will not be shown. The CCMR Verifier will contain data for 2023-24 annual graduates and non-graduating 12th graders. Additionally, LEA’s can access their Preliminary 2025 CCMR Student Listing from the CCMR Verifier.

College Preparatory Courses for College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Accountability Approved Providers for 2028 Accountability
The Approved List of College Preparatory Courses to 2028 Accountability was released on May 29, 2025, and can found on the College Preparatory Courses for CCMR Accountability webpage. As was previously shared in TAA: Postponement of Approved List of College Preparatory Courses to 2028 Accountability on May 8, 2025, TEA is deferring the proposed change to give credit to only those courses on the approved college preparatory course for CCMR list until the 2028 accountability year, with the 2026-2027 graduates. Grade level requirements are not being postponed and will be implemented as announced in 2024 A-F Accountability Ratings System Manual.

PEIMS Summer Submission Preparation
With the June 20, 2025, deadline for the PEIMS Summer Submission only a few weeks away, LEAs should be completing data entry in the SIS for Summer Submission and actively continuing with resolution of Fatal errors and warnings. Additionally, reserving time for data review by LEA staff is essential, especially with the upcoming summer holiday schedule. To assist with the data review, LEAs are strongly encouraged to utilize available TSDS PEIMS reports to ensure the accuracy of the data in PEIMS which are the data used for accountability purposes.
To assist LEAs with data verification for the upcoming PEIMS Summer Submission, the 2024-25 Academic Accountability Data Sources / PEIMS Summer Submission document available on the Performance Reporting Resources webpage, provides a side-by-side comparison of data sources for selected indicators impacted by updates to TSDS PEIMS for the 2024-25 school year. As always, the 2024-25 Texas Education Data Standards via TWEDS is the definitive source for PEIMS information.
Key TSDS PEIMS Reports for Summer Submission
TSDS PEIMS Reports provide information that allows data submitters to find errors and inconsistencies in the data submitted to TEA. LEAs are strongly encouraged to review the following TSDS PEIMS reports that are especially relevant to accountability. These reports may be run as data are loaded and should be run again following completion of data upload to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data.

- PDM3-120-010 Student Advanced Academic Roster by Grade
- PDM3-120-019 Industry-Based Certification Roster
- PDM3-133-001 Number of Students Completing Courses by Pass/Fail Indicator
- PDM3-133-002 Students Completing Courses with Dual/Advanced Technical Credit
LEA verification of PEIMS data prior to the final submission is an essential step that helps both the district, and the local system vendor ensure the data entered accurately reflects LEA performance. As a reminder, LEAs, not their information system vendors, are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of the data submitted to PEIMS. Data submitted through working collections are not used for accountability purposes.
