Dear PDSES Applicant,
The Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) parent portal is back open, and we are still processing applications. Your status will still say “Submitted” when you log in.
While you wait for your award decision, we recommend you log in to the PDSES parent portal to verify your phone number and address. If there have been changes and you need to update your information, please do so now.
Verify and/or edit your phone number and address:
- Login to your My SPEDTex account (see below if you are having trouble logging in)
- Next, click on the button, “Go to your PDSES Parent Portal”
- Once in the portal, you can view your contact information and, if needed, edit your phone number or address by clicking “edit”
- After you have made your changes, click “submit”
If you need to update your email:
- Log in to your My SPEDTex account
- If you are having trouble logging in: Click on “Reset your password” and it will email you a link to reset your password. If your email address is invalid or incorrect and you do not receive an email to reset your password, try clicking on “Forgot Username” and you can login using your phone number.
- Once you are logged in, you can update your email address. This will prompt you to also confirm this new email address with a validation code.
Important: If you update your email in My SPEDTex, it will not yet show up in the PDSES parent portal. This process could take a couple of weeks to update.
We are still processing applications. Your status will still say “Submitted” when you log in. After all applications are processed, you will get an automatic email with your student’s application decision.
If you uploaded attachments as part of the application process, your status may say “in review.” After all applications are processed, you will get an automatic email with your student’s application decision. To see a list of all of the possible statuses, view the application statuses.
If one or more of your students are no longer eligible to receive the PDSES grant, you can cancel their application in the PDSES parent portal or email the PDSES team. View the eligibility criteria.
