2023 A-F Accountability Ratings Release
The 2023 district-level and campus ratings were made publicly available and accessible on TXschools.gov Thursday, April 24, 2025, following their release to school systems in the TEA Login (TEAL) Accountability application on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
TXschools.gov also reports the 2022 What If Overall scale scores and ratings publicly for the first time. School systems also can refer to additional resources for further background about 2023 accountability at the 2023 Accountability Development webpage.
Additional reports and resources including an Enhanced Statewide Summary, containing multiple years of official ratings and the 2022 What If ratings, can be found on the 2023 Accountability Rating System webpage.
Further information is available in the TAA: Release of 2023 Preliminary Academic Accountability Ratings published on April 17, 2025.

PEIMS Summer Submission Preparation
To prepare for the June 20, 2025, deadline for the PEIMS Summer Submission, LEAs are strongly encouraged to utilize available TSDS PEIMS reports to ensure the accuracy of the data in PEIMS which is the data used for accountability purposes.
LEA verification of PEIMS data prior to the final submission is an essential step that helps both the district, and the local system vendor ensure the data entered accurately reflects LEA performance. As a reminder, LEAs, not their information system vendors, are ultimately response for the accuracy of the data submitted to PEIMS. Data submitted through working collections are not used for accountability purposes.
To assist LEAs with data verification for the upcoming June 20, 2025, PEIMS Summer Submission deadline, the 2024-25 Academic Accountability Data Sources / PEIMS Summer Submission document available on the Performance Reporting Resources webpage, provides a side-by-side comparison of data sources for selected indicators impacted by updates to TSDS PEIMS for the 2024-25 school year. For additional information, please contact your supporting Education Service Center (ESC) or TEA by accessing the TSDS Incident Management System (TIMS).
