Districts and open-enrollment charter schools must complete the 2024-2025 survey before 5:00 p.m. (Central) on May 30, 2025.

The Texas Education Code (TEC) §38.103 requires school districts and open-enrollment charter schools to submit the results of the physical fitness assessment to the agency.
With that said, the decision to assess a student’s physical fitness during the fall and spring is a local district decision. Schools are only required to submit physical fitness data once per year. If more than one assessment is conducted, the most recent assessment results should be reported to TEA.
For Districts and Charter Schools Using the FitnessGram® Application
If your district or open-enrollment charter school has opted to use FitnessGram® which is supported by Greenlight Fitness (GLF), you must add your fitness assessment data in FitnessGram between now and June 13, 2025. Once you submit your data via FitnessGram you have met the data submission requirement, and no further action is required of your district or open-enrollment charter school.
For FitnessGram technical assistance questions, please call 1-800-517-9135 or email support@fitnessgram.net. You may also visit https://help.fitnessgram.net/texas/.
