February is National CTE Month
On behalf of the Texas Education Agency’s College, Career, and Military Preparation staff, we wish you a Happy CTE Month. CTE Month is a national celebration of the impact of CTE on students, families, educators, our workforce, and our communities. We join the nation in celebrating the teachers, counselors, and administrators who provide students with quality CTE programs that prepare them for high-wage, high-skill, and in-demand occupations. We also recognize our industry partners who add value to CTE programs in Texas by serving on advisory boards and enabling students to have engaging work-based learning experiences. As we celebrate National CTE month, we are grateful for all who prepare our students for postsecondary success.

Perkins V Summary and Supplemental Reports
Local Education Agencies (LEAs) may access the 2022-23 Perkins V Summary and Supplemental Reports within the Career and Technical Education Reports (CTER) application in TEAL. The reports provide data, disaggregated by Perkins’ special populations, for CTE Learners and non-CTE Learners related to graduation rates, academic performance, and postsecondary placement.
If you do not have access to the CTER application, a request for access must be submitted through the TEAL system, where it will be routed for approval to the district superintendent or designee before final approval by TEA.
