IMRA Reviewer Applications are Open!
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking Texas educators and subject-matter experts to apply as instructional materials reviewers for the 2025 Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) cycle. The 2025 IMRA cycle is just beginning, and the application for potential quality and suitability reviewers is now available!
This critical role helps ensure that high-quality instructional materials are available for students, teachers, and communities across the state, thereby impacting instruction and outcomes in Texas classrooms. As part of this selective group, IMRA reviewers make a significant impact on Texas public education while working with a collaborative group of dedicated educators from across the state. IMRA reviewers are provided a competitive stipend and continuing professional education (CPE) credits for their contributions to this statewide initiative.
The 2025 review cycle will focus on the evaluation of:
- full-subject, tier-one instructional materials for K–12 English mathematics, K–6 Spanish mathematics, and K–6 English and Spanish language arts and reading (ELAR and SLAR);
- partial-subject, tier-one instructional materials for K–3 English and Spanish phonics; and
- supplemental materials for K–12 English mathematics and K–6 Spanish mathematics.
