LEAs have a few options during the open PEIMS Fall First Submission period when verifying presumed leavers.

Utilizing the PDM1-320-002 Preliminary Presumed Underreported Students List report provides Current Year and Prior Year information.

This is a preliminary report that lists students enrolled in grades 7-12 during the prior school year and may be generated at any time during the submission window regardless of completed or accepted status. Since this report is not dependent on a LEAs submission status it assists LEAs with identifying students for whom a School Leaver record may need to be submitted in the PEIMS Fall Submission.

Parameter options include ‘Restricted’ and ‘Non-Restricted’ selections.

• The "Restricted selection" will display the:
  • Presumed Underreported
• The "Non-Restricted selections" will display the following multi-select values:
  • Presumed Summertime Mover
  • Presumed Returned
  • Presumed Leavers
  • School Year Movers
  • Prior Texas Graduates
  • Texas GED Recipients by Aug 31
  • TSDS Unique ID Errors

Both parameter options will provide valuable tools to assist with finding presumed underreported students.  

Additionally, the Enrollment Tracking application has the UID0-000-004 Enrollment Status of Prior School Year Students report that may be run by Student Status options of: Potential Leavers or Potential Movers.

This report will include the graduates from the prior year, however, it can be run as a CSV to allow for easier comparisons. It provides alphabetical-by-campus information on all grade levels of students. TEA encourages LEAs to run reports at their smallest components to make review and comparisons easier.
