Strong Foundations Joint Milestones
*NEW* RBIS Non-Certification Pathway in Math or Literacy: This important 2-day deep-dive into the research on how students learn in math or literacy will be available in early 2025 and may be required for you, depending on your role in Strong Foundations.

Some of you attended two days of RBIS training previously, which fulfills this requirement. If you have already fulfilled the requirement, you should have received an email with that information on November 21. If you didn’t receive the email and feel you have already attended two days of RBIS training, please email strongfoundations@tea.texas.gov.

- Includes both Reading Language Arts and Foundational Skills.
- Requires two daily 60-minute lessons, totaling 120 minutes each day.
Bluebonnet Learning RLA, Grades 4-5:

- Also includes a standalone Foundational Skills product for an optional, additional 30-minutes of daily instruction.
- The integrated Knowledge and Skills program (120 minutes) covers all Grade 3 Reading Language Arts TEKS.
- The standalone Foundational Skills product covers all Foundational Skills standards but is an optional supplement to the integrated Knowledge and Skills program.

Reminder: We have updated the LEA rostering system to give you more visibility into your LEAs’ submitted rosters and to allow you to more easily make changes. There are shortcuts in each of your LEAs’ Google folders with a link to all of their rostered participants including anyone who was originally rostered and any anyone who completed an exit ticket or survey. Please read all of the instructions before interacting with the sheet, and watch the walkthrough in the recording of the IA monthly meeting (starts at 7:28).
