TPRS Advanced Math Pathways and STAAR Progress Reports
The Texas Performance Reporting System (TPRS) integrates state and federal reporting requirements into a single system, offering campus, district, region, and state data. As TEA's most comprehensive reporting system, TPRS includes performance reports for student groups not covered in state accountability tables, the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), or School Report Cards.
The TPRS Advanced Math Pathways report has been updated, highlighting math acceleration opportunities and performance trends. This report outlines advanced math pathways offered to Texas students, emphasizing opportunities for acceleration and success in advanced mathematics coursework. It highlights program participation, student outcomes, and alignment with post-secondary readiness, aiming to inform stakeholders on trends and opportunities for improving math proficiency.
In addition, the STAAR Progress Report has been updated. This report provides an analysis of student progress as measured by the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR). These data have not been used in accountability since the refresh in 2023. For more visit the Progress Measures website.
Additional rounds of TPRS releases are planned for Postsecondary Outcomes in November, as well as TAPR and Federal School Report Cards in December.
Please note that the release does not include Campus or District 2024 Accountability Reports. The issuance of A–F ratings under the 2024 rule is pending and subject to change.

PEIMS FAQ - What is the deadline for entering drop-out data in PEIMS?
According to PEIMS Leaver Data - Documentation Requirements for the PEIMS Leaver Data 2024-25 School Year , TEA uses the PEIMS Fall Submission to assist in determining whether students were officially identified as movers or leavers. During the PEIMS Fall Submission, leaver records must be submitted for students who do not enroll in other Texas public schools by the TEA school-start window, which is September 27, 2024 for the 2024-25 school year. Districts must document the withdrawal of students and maintain on file the appropriate paperwork associated with student withdrawals. Documentation is required for all leaver reasons. Detailed information about the documentation requirements for leaver reasons is provided in the link above. Documentation supporting use of a leaver reason(s) must exist in the district at the time the leaver data are submitted, i.e. no later than the PEIMS Submission 1 (Fall Submission) Resubmission date which is January 16, 2025 for the 2024-25 school year.
Additionally, please note that beginning in the 2025-26 school year, current-year leaver and graduation data will be reported in the PEIMS Summer and Extended Year Submissions. Please refer to the September 5, 2024 TAA: Early Notice – Moving Leaver and Graduate Reporting from the PEIMS Fall to the PEIMS Summer and Extended Year Submissions for more information and timelines to help prepare for this change.
