Greetings,

As fall approaches, we are entering the season of LASO!  Please view the recording and materials from the August 23 webinar to learn more about the upcoming grant cycle. All materials for this session can be found on the interactive calendar.  

The best source of general LASO information is the LASO Cycle 3 website. Here are some important upcoming LASO 3 dates:

Milestones

Strong Foundations Planning Milestones

  • Past due: Roadmap Planning Tool– 96% are turned in! Milestone date was 8/16. If your LEA needs an extension, please fill out the deliverable survey with expected completion date.
  • Upcoming: Instructional Framework – Milestone date for submission is December 13th unless an extension is needed. 

Strong Foundations Implementation Milestones

  • Past due: Action Plan 1 – 91% of LEAs have submitted Action Plan 1! Milestone date was 8/31. 
  • Past due: Action Plan 2 – Milestone date was 9/30.  If your LEA needs an extension, please fill out the deliverable submission form with expected completion date.
  • Upcoming: Action Plan 3: Establishing Observation and Feedback Practices and October Monthly Status Report – Due October 31. Implementation Advisors can submit both of these deliverables using the deliverable submission form.

Reminders & Next Steps

Strong Foundations Planning Reminders:

  • Instructional Framework Training – FINAL Opportunity for 2024 – If any members of the AP teams need Instructional Framework Training, please make sure to register and attend the final opportunity for the training and certification in 2024.  October 7 – Registration for both dates. 
  • AP Coaching Sessions (optional) – Don’t miss out! Sessions are filling up fast! Receive feedback on your LEA’s Instructional Framework during the creation phase. Sessions will be offered this Fall (September – November). Based on last cycle's feedback, we are also encouraging APs to extend the invitation to LEA leaders. Sign-up here! 
  • (Required) AP Monthly Meeting – Next meeting is October 25 @ 9:00 a.m. All SF Managers and AP District Leads are required to attend monthly meetings. Registration for all AP Meetings. 
  • AP Playbook – Check out your one-stop shop to see all AP meeting dates as well as the LEA CoP dates & registration. Partner with us to remind your LEAs to attend their CoPs and learn from and with others! 
  • Reminder: HQIM Learning Labs - Hurry! Spots are filling up fast, and several districts are already full for the fall! You, as an organization, may sign up to visit an Innovator Learning Lab, or you can encourage the LEAs you support to sign up! Learning Labs provide you an opportunity to visit an Innovator district to see students engaged with rigorous, grade level content in real time and learn what planning happens in the background to implement HQIM effectively. HQIM Learning Labs will be hosted in fall 2024 and spring 2025. The Innovator Website has instructions with how to request a visit. 
  • Reminder: RBIS Pre- and Post- Survey
    • Ensure that people fill out the pre- and post- survey VERY carefully. They need to list YOU as the Approved Provider, or their data will not populate onto your dashboard. Helpful hint: put your AP name on the survey slide, or write it on the board, so that they know exactly who to list!
