The 2023-2024 Transportation Route Services Report, through the web-based Foundation School Program (FSP) Module, is now open and available for completion. TEA requests your school district promptly complete and submit this report to enable TEA’s process in finalizing the 2023-2024 Transportation Allotment amount.
The annual deadline for submitting the 2023-2024 Transportation Route Services Report is August 1, 2024. This deadline date is published on the School Transportation Funding webpage and is also found in the School Transportation Allotment Handbook.
To complete and submit the report, follow the instructions below:
- Log into the TEAL portal and select the district link under the Foundation School Program application.
- Under Programs menu, select Transportation
- Select "Enter Contact Information”, complete, and save accordingly
- A confirmation notification should populate if handled correctly
- Select “Cancel” to return to the main Transportation page
- Select “Enter Route Services”
For Transportation Users:
- Upon saving and completing the reported data, select “Submit to Superintendent”

Notify your District Approver as the submitted report is pending their action to be submitted to TEA
For District Approvers:
- Review the information and select the checkbox to certify the Route Services data reported by the Transportation User
- Select “Submit to TEA”
As confirmation, your report status should reflect SUBMITTED if successfully forwarded to TEA. If any other statuses are listed (aside from APPROVED) then the Route Services report is still pending school district completion and/or next step actions.
