Greetings from TEA!

Hello Strong Foundations Planning grant LEAs,

Happy summer! Thank you for your support and participation thus far in the 2024-25 LASO grant cycle. Just a reminder that if you have not yet uploaded your executed contract into your google folder and shared that folder with your Approved Provider, that is now considered overdue. Please be sure to complete this important grant requirement as soon as possible.

We look forward to our touchpoints with you all through Office Hours, Monthly Meetings and training.

Thank you for your commitment to excellence in education!

Warm Regards,

The Strong Foundations Planning Team

Milestones

Past Due: Executed Contracts were due May 17th, 2024. If you need an extension on this deadline, please reach out to strongfoundations@tea.texas.gov

Once you have a contract with an Approved Provider upload the Executed Contract to your LEA’s Google Folder. A link was sent from the StrongFoundations@TEA.Texas.gov email; share your Google folder link with your Approved Provider. If you need our team to send you the Google folder link again, please do not hesitate to request that through the Strong Foundations email.

Reminders & Next Steps

  • LEA Community of Practice (June is OPTIONAL) CoPs provide a space where you will connect with other district leaders in shared learning, collaboration, problem solving, and innovating. You have two options to attend based on student enrollment. Of course, you are welcome to choose either one based on your availability!
  • LEA Panel – If you missed out on attending the LEA Panel featuring Corpus Christi ISD and Woodsboro ISD, check out the recording on the Interactive Calendar. Navigate to 5/14, double-click on LEA Panel event, and scroll down to see the recording and anchor doc with many valuable resources.
  • HQIM Learning Labs – These Learning Labs allow LEAs to see students engaged with rigorous, grade level content in real time and learn what planning happens in the background to implement HQIM effectively and we want YOU to visit! HQIM Learning Labs will be hosted in both fall 2024 and spring 2025! The Innovator Website will be updated in late June with new dates and additional innovators!
