Greetings!

Hello Team,

June is here! Thank you for your support and participation in the 2024–25 LASO grant cycle. We look forward to receiving the remaining executed contracts from participating LEAs and engaging in touchpoints with you through office hours, monthly meetings, and training sessions.

Warm regards,

Strong Foundations Program Team

Reminders & Next Steps

Strong Foundations Planning:

  • Upcoming RBIS ToT Training – We strongly encourage our APs and ESCs to register for in person RBIS ToT whenever possible, particularly if a facilitator is new to the work of the grant. All ToTs are 3 days of training from 9-3:30 and active participation is required. (**Note: The RBIS ToT alone will not certify a facilitator to redeliver. Artifacts and interviews must be completed in Step 2 for a satisfactory rubric score. Only those certified may redeliver the RBIS in any form.) Registration links can be found here.
  • Summer 2024 RBIS Training Dates
    • In-Person (San Antonio/ESC 20): June 46
    • Virtual: June 2527
    • In-Person (Dallas/ESC 10): July 30 August 1
  • RBIS Asynchronous Refresher course due to drop May 31st. Registration links for this training will go out in an email from Team RBIS. After July 1st, all RBIS redeliveries are required to use the updated materials that will be given to you upon completion of the refresher course.
  • (Required) AP Monthly Meeting: Next meeting is June 28 @ 9:00 a.m. All SF Managers and AP District Leads are required to attend monthly meetings. Registration for all AP Meetings.
  • Miss an AP Monthly Meeting? Watch the recording, review the slide deck, and fill out this Missed AP Meeting form to remain in compliance with attendance.
  • Please remind your LEAs of the OPTIONAL June LEA Community of Practice – June's session is optional with the official kick-off of required CoPs beginning in August. They have a choice of day to attend:
  • Note: They may attend either session based on their availability even if LEA student enrollment doesn’t align. This CoP is for LEAs only (no APs).
  • Please encourage your SFP/SFI LEAs to request an HQIM Learning Lab visit! HQIM Learning Labs will be hosted in both fall 2024 and spring 2025! HQIM Learning Labs allow LEAs to see students engaged with rigorous, grade level content in real time and learn what planning happens in the background to implement HQIM effectively. The Innovator Website will be updated in late June with new dates and additional innovators!
