Foster Care and Education Summit 2024

In partnership with The Texas Education Agency, The Children's Commission and The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services will conduct the Foster Care and Education Summit. This training aims to provide guidance, resource tips, and tools to assist local education agencies and child welfare organizations with addressing the educational needs and requirements of students in foster care, as required by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). 

Registration is now open. Please use this registration link or the QR code on the flyer to reserve your spot for the summit. We are excited to share new information with you. This summit will be for two days. There will be intentional time for learning new skills and strategies for working with students in foster care.
