Greetings!

Hello Strong Foundations Implementation grant LEAs,

Welcome to the May edition of the Strong Foundations Implementation Newsletter. We appreciate your ongoing dedication and hard work contracting with an Approved Provider and developing an executed contract that will set you up for success in implementing HQIM. We know that May is a busy time for LEAs and want to ensure you feel supported by the Strong Foundations Implementation team.

In this month’s newsletter, we will share updates and resources to support your work. Together, we are building stronger educational systems that nurture student success and foster a brighter future.

Thank you for your commitment to excellence in education!

If this newsletter was forwarded to you, and you would like to receive future SFI newsletters, please fill out this form and indicate that you are a district or campus leader.

Warm regards,

Strong Foundations Implementation Team

Milestones

Action Items

To set your LEA up for success, complete the following action items:

  • The HQIM Readiness Inventory was due April 12.
  • Executed Contracts are due May 17. Given the recent errata, we know that contracts may not be completed by May 17. Please work with your AP partners to submit executed contracts as soon as possible.
  • Complete Strong Start Transition Plan (template provided in Strong Start Implementation Leader Training session).
  • Complete the SFI Contact Form to create a roster for all participants at your LEA by July 31.

A note on upcoming programmatic surveys:

  • Participants will receive communications from the Strong Foundation Implementation (SFI) Team via Qualtrics for quarterly survey distribution. To ensure participation in the surveys that are crucial to program success and continuous improvement of the grant, please make sure noreply@tea.texas.gov is whitelisted for all participants at your school/district. Doing so prevents important SFI emails from being marked as spam and being routed to your junk folder. See this FAQ for details on whitelisting emails.
