This affects the majority of the visualizations within the dashboards. This issue is expected to be resolved within the week.
New: Principal and Teacher Surveys TEA is currently collecting data for the principal and teacher survey through June 15, 2024. These data are used as part of the Accountability System for Educator Preparation. We have received some questions from EPPs related to which teachers are included. The ASEP manual provides clarity on the population. We have summarized it below.

Is working for the first year as a teacher of record in Texas public schools
-
Has taught for at least five months of the school year
-
Holds a standard, intern, or probationary certificate
-
Has completed or is enrolled in a Texas Educator Preparation Program

Holds a standard, intern, or probationary certificate
-

Correction: Title II Reporting Deadline A prior newsletter incorrectly gave the deadline for the Title II reporting as April 20. Please note that this deadline is April 30.
Reminder: Action Required - Title II Reporting The Title II website is now available for all EPPs to complete their required federal reporting. All EPP Title II representatives should have received notification via email. If your EPP’s Title II reporting lead did not receive an email, please reach out to title2@trewon.com.
To begin, please log in to the system. Go to https://title2.ed.gov/ and select "Submit Reports" in the upper righthand corner of the webpage. Your username and password remain the same. To recover a username or password, select "Forgot your username or password?" and enter your email.
For support in completing this report, please visit https://title2.ed.gov/Public/TA.aspx for links to a Glossary of Key Terms and Reporting Requirements. Instructions are included in the reporting instrument. If you have specific questions, please email title2@trewon.com.
This reporting is due April 30. As a reminder, TEA does not provide technical support for this required federal reporting. We do, however, monitor EPP completion to ensure that all EPPs are in compliance with this requirement.
Pro Tip: In the past, responses from the Title II Help Desk have been delayed during high volume times. We suggest doing this reporting as soon as possible, so that you can avoid any challenges with their Help Desk.

New: TECEP Score Report Enhancement We are pleased to announce that a score reporting enhancement feature for candidates has been implemented. This enhancement will allow a candidate to make a selected score report available to a recipient. This feature is already available for edTPA.
The service, called "Grant Access," enables a candidate to make score reports available to any recipient. The candidate will be able to identify a specific score report(s) to be shared and enter the recipient's email address. A link to the score report is generated for the candidate to copy and send to the recipient. Using the link, the recipient requests a PIN to access the score report. The PIN request validates that the person attempting to access the score report is the authorized person the candidate granted access to by sending the PIN to the email address originally identified by the candidate. The recipient enters the PIN and the specified score report is launched and can be viewed and/or downloaded by the recipient. The service will be presented on the “Scores” section of the Texas Educator Certification Examination Program website.
Updates related to actions by the State Board for Educator Certification, the State Board of Education, and the Legislature.
