IDEA-B LEA MOE Exceptions Training & Office Hours

In coordination with the release of school year (SY) 2022–2023 (fiscal year (FY) 2023) preliminary compliance reviews for IDEA-B LEA MOE, TEA staff will be hosting a training session and an “office hour” session to provide technical assistance and answer questions related to the completion of the SY 2022–2023 IDEA-B LEA MOE Exceptions Workbook:

• Training Session: March 26, 2024 – 10:00 – 11:00 am. Register here.
• Office Hour Session: March 28, 2024 – 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Register here.

TEA will release SY 2022–2023 preliminary compliance reviews for IDEA-B LEA MOE on Thursday, March 21, 2024. At that time, LEAs can view their compliance review reports by logging on to the secure GFFC Reports and Data Collections application, which is accessible through TEAL. LEAs will also be able to access the SY 2022–2023 Exceptions Workbook. LEAs must use the workbook if they choose to respond to TEA and submit exception data/documentation and/or MOE voluntary reduction. The workbook is available in GFFC Reports and Data Collections (in TEAL) and on the IDEA-B LEA MOE webpage. Resources on the webpage can help identify any exceptions and/or adjustments that may be applicable to your LEA. The deadline to submit the Exceptions Workbook and associated documentation is Friday, April 5, 2024.
