2021-2022 Special Education Consolidated Grant Application (Federal): IDEA-B Formula ARP and IDEA-B Preschool ARP Expenditure Reporting Deadlines and Carryover
The purpose of this bulletin is to notify recipients of the 2021-2022 Special Education Consolidated Grant Application (Federal) of the expenditure reporting deadlines for the IDEA-B Formula ARP and IDEA-B Preschool ARP grant programs and the availability of carryover. The due date for final and revised final expenditure reports for these grant programs is January 2, 2023, for the reporting period of July 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022.
To report your expenditures, sign into your TEA Login (TEAL) account and access the Expenditure Reporting (ER) system.
Availability of Carryover
Carryover amounts will be calculated after final expenditure reports have been submitted and the 2021-2022 Special Education Consolidated Grant Application (Federal) is closed. The carryover period for unspent 2021-2022 IDEA-B ARP funds began October 1, 2022, and ends September 30, 2023. Grantees may continue to spend these funds without interruption to the performance period. It is anticipated that carryover funding will be available in February 2023. Grantees will be required to submit an amendment to the 2022-2023 Special Education Consolidated Grant Application (Federal) to claim carryover funds. Additional information on the carryover process will be provided once carryover funding becomes available.
