Review and Adoption Update
Proclamation 2024 Updates (Science, Career and Technical Education, Technology Applications, and Personal Financial Literacy & Economics)
Publisher Webinar
TEA will host a webinar on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. for publishers interested in participating in Proclamation 2024. This webinar will demonstrate how to use the standards-alignment dashboard to add programs and enter correlations. Please register to attend.
To gain access to the dashboard prior to the webinar, publishers must enter statements of intent to bid (SOITB). Publishers with EMAT access will enter a SOITB in EMAT. Publishers who do not have EMAT usernames and passwords can use the public-facing site to enter a SOITB. Please review the Company Information Form and Statement of Intent to Bid Training prior to entering SOITB.
Breakouts
All Proclamation 2024 breakouts have been added to the Review and Adoption Breakout Documents webpage. Publishers may use these documents to begin identifying content that will be used in Proclamation 2024 correlations. Publishers will be able to enter correlations in the dashboard in mid to late November.
Texas Resource Review (TRR) Updates
Science Rubrics
The final TRR K–8 and high school science rubrics and an updated memo of changes are now available on the TRR website. All science materials submitted for Proclamation 2024 will be reviewed through the TRR using these rubrics.
Publisher Waitlist
The TRR evaluates the quality of instructional materials using a quality rubric developed by Texas educators. If you are interested in having your materials reviewed through the TRR during a future review cycle, please complete the waitlist form. The TRR reports are posted online and made available to support districts in selecting high-quality instructional materials.
