Texas Education for Homeless Children and Youth Summit

Save the Date!

We are excited to announce the 2022 Texas Education for Homeless Children and Youth (TEHCY) Program Summit, hosted in partnership with Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS). The summit will take place from Monday, August 29th through Wednesday, August 31st in-person (location TBA) and virtually. Be sure to mark your calendars! Registration will be opening soon. Please let us know if you plan to attend virtually or in-person.

The TEHCY Program Summit is an incredible learning opportunity for McKinney-Vento liaisons and other education professionals who have been working tirelessly to support students experiencing homelessness. Attendees will have the opportunity to build concrete skills, earn CEUs, learn from the expertise of professionals, and hear from youth and young adults who have experienced homelessness while in school.

Interested in presenting at this year’s summit?

The call for proposals is now open! The summit is a great opportunity to share your expertise with a wide audience, and we encourage districts both large and small to apply to present. View more information on our webpage and apply via the Call for Proposals form.
