In May, you received an email with a link to the Road to Recovery District Toolkit created by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). The toolkit includes materials on how families can access and use STAAR results to help their students recover any lost ground in learning.  

This month, TEA contacted a diverse group of districts across the state to better understand the strategies, methods, and resources they have found most effective in increasing family engagement with STAAR scores. Their shared insights were used to create the new Top Tips and Resources one-pager. This one-pager provides the top communication strategies, materials, and channels districts across the state have found to be successful.

We encourage you to download the customizable District Toolkit and use these resources to communicate to your families about their child’s STAAR results this year.
