Official Notification of the 2020-2021 Final Student Attendance Accounting Handbook

The final 2020-2021 Student Attendance Accounting Handbook (SAAH) has been posted on the Texas Education Agency (TEA) website at https://tea.texas.gov/finance-and-grants/financial-compliance/student-attendance-accounting-handbook. 

Note: This handbook, as it has historically, details the general requirements for on campus attendance and normal attendance procedures for alternative educational settings.  The handbook does not provide the details for individual local educational agencies to seek waivers from the handbook's requirements to deal with pandemic issues.  The agency, through their COVID webpage, provides those details so local educational agencies may seek adjustments to funding and access to remote learning options to deal with localized issues due to the impact of COVID-19 on normal operations.
