In response to the demands of COVID-19, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is distributing funds to eligible Medicaid providers. The funds may be used to cover lost revenue or health related purchases to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus. Many districts and charters have already applied. If not, the deadline has been extended to September 13, 2020. More information is available at: CARES Act Provider Relief Fund.
Once you receive this money, it should be coded as revenue object code 5949 and fund 289.
