The purpose of this announcement is to notify Texas Education Agency (TEA) noncompetitive grant recipients of the award and notification process. 

  1. Grant recipients whose application or amendment was awarded a Notice of Grant Award (NOGA) prior to March 16, 2020, should have received a paper copy of their NOGA, Supplement to NOGA, NOGA Transmittal Letter, and final negotiated application or amendment via postal mail service. These award notifications are mailed to the superintendent, executive director, or chief operating officer.
  2. Grant recipients whose application or amendment was awarded a NOGA between March 16 – 24, 2020, should have received an email containing the NOGA, Supplement to NOGA, and NOGA Transmittal Letter. A paper copy of all documents including the final negotiated application or amendment will be mailed once TEA staff return to normal work operations. The email was sent to the superintendent as listed in AskTED, or the authorized official as identified on page one of the application, along with the primary and secondary contacts listed on page one of the application.
  3. Grant recipients whose application or amendment is awarded after March 24, 2020, will receive an email containing the NOGA, Supplement to NOGA, NOGA Transmittal Letter, and final negotiated application or amendment. The email will be sent to the superintendent as listed in AskTED, or the authorized official as identified on page one of the application, along with the primary and secondary contacts listed on page one of the application.
  4. There is no change to the eGrants award process.
