ECHS Blueprint Revision Public Comment Window is Open

The Texas Education Agency has made the draft 2020 ECHS Blueprint available for Public Comment through February 28th. This opportunity enables the CCRSM network, including ECHS Leaders and their higher education partners, to provide vital feedback regarding proposed changes to the ECHS Blueprint for 2020-21 and beyond. We encourage all relevant stakeholders and practitioners to share their feedback during this Public Comment Window.

College and Career Readiness School Models Showcase 2020

TEA would like to thank the leadership and faculty at Bryan Collegiate, Blinn College, Tarrant County College South, Fort Worth ISD Collegiate High School, and Parkland T-STEM for opening up their campuses and institutions to host CCRSM Showcase tours this winter.

 

2020-2021 CCRSM Designation Renewal Application Closes February 21, 2020

LEA’s are invited to submit their application for CCRSM Designation renewal for the 2020-2021 academic year. The applications are now live at https://texasccrsmdesignation.org/ and will close on February 21 at 5:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST). Questions regarding CCRSM Designation may be submitted to ccrsm@tea.texas.gov.

A technical assistance webinar was hosted December 3, 2019 to provide information regarding all CCRSM Designation applications. The webinar is now accessible online, and it provides applicants with information regarding how to access and navigate the online, web-based application system and highlights important updates to the application questions and format.

CCRSM Spotlight

TSIA

Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) testing administrators from both institutions of higher education and school districts/high schools are required to attend mandatory training prior to the launch of TSIA2. The new test will be activated on August 31, 2020, at which time the current version will no longer be available. Two institutional administrators familiar with TSIA testing practices are required to attend one of the scheduled sessions this spring.
