Statewide Federal Grants Training on October 4

The TEA Department of Contracts, Grants and Financial Administration will be hosting a free statewide training on October 4, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center in Austin, Texas.

This training is open to all independent school districts, open-enrollment charter schools, education service centers, and any other entities that receive federal education grants from TEA. Education consultants who assist schools with federal grant management and compliance also are welcome to attend. 

Training Topics

TEA staff will provide training and updates on federal grants administration, compliance, monitoring, and EDGAR. Attendees also will receive the latest information on the development of the new 2019-2020 consolidated federal grants application that will include all ESSA, IDEA, and Perkins federal grant programs. A detailed agenda will be released early August.

If you are interested in attending this one-day training, complete this online registration form and submit it by September 28, 2018. There is no cost for this training and lunch will be on your own.
