The purpose of the FAQ guidance is to provide general information
about the Immediate Aid to Restart School Operations (Restart) program. The
FAQs provide basic information about the program, including the award process
and allowable uses of funds.

You can now access
the Restart FAQ for LEAs on the TEA Grant Opportunities
web page by selecting ‘2018-2020

FAQ for PNPs: Allowable Uses of Funds
Eligible Private
Nonprofit Schools (PNPs) that plan to apply to TEA directly for services under
the Restart grant need to complete and submit the Restart
Request for Equitable Services form online by July 27, 2018. Equitable
services to PNPs will be provided through a grant to the regional educational
service center that serves the geographic location of the private school.
