Texas Education Agency sent this bulletin at 02/03/2017 12:26 PM CSTFebruary 3, 2017
TO THE SUPERINTENDENT ADDRESSED:
For informational purposes only, calculation tables have now been added to the data tables that were originally posted on December 16, 2016, on the Texas Education Agency Secure Environment (TEASE) Accountability application. These additional tables show the specific calculations used to determine the domain scores that were reported in the 2015–16 A–F Ratings report released to the Texas Legislature on December 30, 2016. The calculation tables are confidential and include only the data used for each calculation.
The TEASE Accountability application is online at https://seguin.tea.state.tx.us/apps/logon.asp.
Please note that the ratings in the 2015–16 A–F Ratings report are for informational purposes to meet a legislative requirement and represent work-in-progress models. Furthermore, the ratings are based on the development of the A–F system as of December 2016. Development of the new accountability system will continue—with additional input from stakeholders—until spring 2018, when the final rules are expected to be adopted.
Please contact the Performance Reporting Division at (512) 463-9704 or performance.reporting@tea.texas.gov if you have questions about the A–F academic accountability system.
Thank you.
