Parole/Probation Letter Request

Request for additional information

To process your application to be a volunteer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice it is necessary that you submit a letter from your supervising parole/probation officer acknowledging your participation in the TDCJ Volunteer Program.

The letter must be an original, signed, dated, and on official letterhead;

OR

An Email can be sent directly from your supervising officer to: volunteerservices@tdcj.texas.gov.

Note:  Copies will not be accepted (Including faxes).

Please provide your documentation no later than thirty days from the date of this notice to the following address:  Volunteer Services, P.O. Box 99, Huntsville, Texas 77342.    

If we have not received this information within the stated time frame, your application will be denied. Should you need assistance or have questions, please contact Volunteer Services at 936-437-3026
