Thank you for helping us choose these new plate designs

Recently you helped us select the design for the newest Texas Parks and Wildlife specialty license plates by casting your vote in our online survey.  Almost from the beginning, it was a tight race—so tight that we could not determine the clear favorite among the 17,000+ who voted. In the end, only 51 votes separated the Hummingbird and the Rattlesnake, therefore we decided to release both!

Available Spring 2015

Both plates will be available this spring. So we hope you will give your vehicle a personal touch — by sporting one of the newest Texas Parks and Wildlife Conservation License Plates!

  • It's a great way to show your love for Texas wildlife
  • Only $30/year* — with $22 going to benefit native wildlife in Texas
  • Available for your car, truck, motorcycle, trailer and RV

Thank you for your support of Texas Wildlife!

We’ll send you an email notifying you when the plates are available for purchase, and how you can get yours, if you would like to. When you purchase these new plates, $22 out of $30 goes directly to help conserve wildlife diversity by funding a vast array of projects that help protect native species such as the state's official reptile, the Horned Lizard. For specific examples of how the money has been or is being used, visit Where the Money Goes.

*Does not include regular registration fees
