You’re Invited: Paddle the New Lewisville Lake Paddling Trails in Highland Village!

Lewisville Lake Paddling Trails

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, in partnership with the City of Highland Village, is launching 5 new paddling trails this week, and you’re invited to help us celebrate.

Join us June 25 at 11:00am at Lakeside Community Park in Highland Village for the grand opening of the new Lewisville Lake - Highland Village Paddling Trails, which include Pilot Knoll Loop, Pilot Knoll to Sunset Point, Lakeside Park Loop, Sunset Point to Lakeside, and Lakeside to Copperas Branch Paddling Trails, totaling 8 new miles of paddling trails for the metroplex.

Each trail delivers a peaceful paddle of varying lengths and times contingent on route taken, time spent exploring, and wind speed. Paddlers will also need to be aware of motorboats in high traffic areas.

Whether you’re paddling, fishing, birding, or just enjoying the view, this trail offers a fresh way to experience the Hickory Creek Arm of Lewisville Lake.
