Introduction to Range Safety and Etiquette
Whether you're a first-timer or just returning to the range after some time away, it's always critical to follow range safety and etiquette guidelines. This helps to ensure that every shooter has the best possible experience at the range.
We want to empower you with the knowledge and confidence you need to make the most of your shooting range visits, while prioritizing safety above all else. Become a range safety expert by following the helpful tips in the video Introduction to Range Safety and Etiquette.
Shoot for a Cause
Show off your shooting skills, win awesome prizes and support a great cause by taking part in a Clay Stoppers Shootout, hosted by Operation Game Thief (OGT). Upcoming events in Houston and Austin will include a shooting course with 100 clay targets, lunch, raffles, a live auction and more.

4,000+ Kids with Bows and Arrows? Sounds Like Fun!
The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) provides archery training to 4th-12th graders. We are proud supporters of this program, and along with our partners will host the 2024 Texas NASP State Tournament March 26-27 in Belton. More than 4,400 Texas archery students will participate, and we can use your help.
We’re seeking tournament volunteers – no archery experience required. Whether you’ve never been a Texas Parks & Wildlife volunteer, or are already registered, you can register and sign up for shifts by March 27 to join the fun. Learn more about the tournament in our press release. See you there!
