RENEW ONLINE. Your registration decals will be mailed to you and you can immediately print your receipt to use your boat. You can also update your address online. A small additional charge for online service will apply. (Online renewal is not available for USCG documented boats* or those owned by a government entity or political subdivision.)

RENEW BY MAIL: Return the green renewal notice that you will receive by mail along with a check or money order for the registration fee due in the accompanying envelope. You may also use the Vessel/Boat Records Maintenance Form (PWD 143M).

RENEW IN PERSON: Texas Parks and Wildlife Headquarters in Austin and all of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department field offices throughout the state are normally open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Check the website for the most up-to-date information about any office closures or modified hours. Social distancing is strongly encouraged for customers and employees.
*Boats documented through the USCG must provide a copy of current documentation to renew registration.
