The Great Outdoor Scavenger Hunt (GOSH) is back and the response is already fantastic. Our annual state-wide selfie scavenger hunt kicked off last month, inviting Texans to explore almost 50 locations across seven regions of Texas, with locations for park lovers, history buffs, wildlife watchers and music fans.
Bonnie Bryant and her family (Instagram @bonnieandthebryants) got an early start, completing the West Texas region in record time. The family visited every GOSH 2022 location in the category, including three state parks (Balmorhea, Big Bend Ranch and Davis Mountains) the first week the scavenger hunt launched, which is a new GOSH record! Way to go, Bryant Family!

Texas music fans (and those seeking some music to go along with your GOSH adventure) should check out our GOSH road trip playlists. Each playlist features more than eight hours of music, showcasing a multi-generational cross-genre sample of Texas musicians from the Arc Angels to ZZ Top, as well as songs about the Lone Star state. The playlists have struck a chord with many readers, with more than 500 plays in the first two weeks.
