Get a jump-start on Halloween this year by visiting a state park near you! Many parks are offering holiday-themed festivities all month long for you and your friends and family to enjoy. From trick-or-treating and edible creepy crawlies to costume contests and "zombie" hikes, we've planned great Halloween-themed events for everyone.
Some events are weather dependent; call ahead to confirm park events.
Boo in the Park 2021 at Lake Tawakoni (Oct. 23) – Bring the family out for a campsite decorating contest, pumpkin carving contest, trick-or-treating, and spooky storytelling.
Boo in the Park at Eisenhower (Oct. 30) – Explore our decorated campground and enjoy some trick-or-treating and other fun activities.
Halloween at the Hatchery 2021 at Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center (Oct. 28) – Grab your costumes and trick-or-treating bags for an evening of family-friendly fun.
