Your Must-Have Fishing Resource
Spring fishing is heating up! Before you head to the water, make sure you know the regulations. The Outdoor Annual is your go-to resource for Texas fishing regulations.
There are 3 easy ways to access this year's Outdoor Annual:
- Visit OutdoorAnnual.com
- Use the Outdoor Annual mobile app
- Print your own – use the printable files to print all or part of the fishing portion of the regulations (PDF) at home or a local library
Due to economic impacts of the pandemic, there are no printed copies of the Outdoor Annual available at license retailers for this fishing season (Sept. 1, 2020-Aug. 31, 2021) . If you have questions or comments about the Outdoor Annual, please email us at OutdoorAnnual@tpwd.texas.gov.

The Outdoor Annual mobile app is better than ever!
-
Find freshwater fishing spots nearby, including specific regulations, access points and fishing reports.
-
No internet required – access regulations even in the most remote locations, once the app has been downloaded to your phone.
-
Carry your license in the app. You can use it to fish right away for any legal fish – except red drum over 28", which still require a physical tag.
