Buffalo Soldier University is back in session and here is a sneak preview of what’s to come.....

We are kicking off a virtual Black History all month long, with brand new programs featuring the Buffalo Soldier Team, and our talented Texas Outdoor Family Rangers.

Watch all month long, and then sign up your Trivia Team for the Black History Month Trivia Challenge on February 27th on the free Kahoot App.

This semester kicks off this Tuesday, February 2nd at 6 PM (CST) on the Texas Buffalo Soldiers Facebook Live Feed.

If you miss a live program you can go back and find them saved on our Facebook page. This will allow you to catch up and be ready for the #BlackHistoryMonthTriviaChallenge at the end of the month.

Texas Buffalo Soldiers bring history to life with stories, costumes and tools.

At one of our programs, you can learn how to track an animal, fish with a cane pole or cook over a campfire. We play traditional games, use the sun to find directions, learn Native American skills, and even saddle a horse.

We make connections between history and the outdoors. Our goal is to not only share history, but to share our Story.
