What: BOW is going VIRTUAL this fall!!!

When – SAVE THE DATE!!! : Saturday October 3rd, 2020
Times: 8:00am ~ 5:00pm
Where: In the comforts of your own home
Who: ANYONE who would like to join and take advantage of BOW! (you must have a Facebook account since this will be set up as a Facebook Group)
Cost and Participant numbers: This is a FREE event and there is NO limitation, NO waiting list, and NO disappointment of not getting into the workshop on time!!!
Why: Since 2020 continues to throw us curveballs, your TPWD BOW staff and BOW instructors got ahead of it and decided to bring BOW to YOU, since many facilities have cancelled their fall programming (including the fall 2020 BOW location).
To my knowledge, this will be the FIRST of its kind – where a one-day, mini-BOW workshop goes all virtual, with unlimited “participants” for FREE!!!

How: For THIS virtual BOW, we are using FACEBOOK. You must have a Facebook account in order to take advantage of this event which will be in a Facebook Group (in short notice, this is the only way we set it up due to simplicity and live streaming capacities)
More Details: I will send another eBlast VERY soon, as well as put up another post on the TPWD BOW Facebook page --- with the virtual BOW Facebook Group name and link for you to “join”, and await the LIVE STREAM events that will launch on Saturday October 3rd. An agenda will be posted there, so you can pick and choose which session(s) to join in on!
Your AMAZING BOW Staff and BOW Instructors: …have been working tirelessly ‘behind the scenes pre-recording short segments of their BOW class sessions. We’ve compiled an agenda for the day, including welcome messages, course sessions, and breaks, and will post that soon.
- You will be able to tune in on Saturday October 3rd to watch the LIVE (pre-recorded) stream of the classes,
- You will be able to share your excitement (“like” or “love”) as well as post comments or ask questions during the sessions,
- Staff/Instructors will also be WATCHING their class video right there with you – and will be available to answer any questions or comments you have and post their replies back to you in REAL TIME!!!
We are very excited to bring BOW to YOU this fall!!
