All boats can transport invasive zebra mussels, but wet-slipped boats that have been stored on lakes with zebra mussels carry the highest risk of causing a new infestation.
Marinas can help protect Texas lakes by working with TPWD to ensure boats are properly decontaminated and fully dried before moving them to another lake.
