Now there are new ways to visit your state parks!
Planning a day or overnight trip to a Texas State Park just got easier with new online reservation features:
Pick Your Site – Now you can reserve specific campsites, cabins or shelters in advance when you make your reservation. You can search for sites by specific parks and site types, see photos of the site before making your decision and see details for each site including utilities, parking pad length and width, and amount of shade. This also makes it easy for families and groups to choose sites near each other.
Save the Day – Now you have the option to reserve your day entry to ensure you can get in to even the most popular parks at the most popular times. With this new option you can reserve your day visit up to 30 days in advance. Day passes for some of the more popular parks have specific arrival time slots.
Buy Your Parks Pass – Now you can buy or renew your annual Texas State Parks Pass online.
We are making every effort to make the reservation upgrades as smooth as possible. If you experience any issues, you may contact the Customer Service Center at (512) 389-8900. They're open Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Due to increased demand, Customer Service Center wait times are expected to temporarily be longer than normal. If you do not want to hold for the next available agent, you may request a call back.
All existing park reservations have been moved into the new system and are secure. See our tips for logging into the new system and reviewing your reservations.
Thanks for your support of Texas State Parks!
